I build backends in Python: REST APIs, microservices, Telegram bots, and integrations with payment, SMS and map services. My usual stack is FastAPI or Django with PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery and Docker.

Over the last year I took a delivery service from an empty repository to release in the App Store and Google Play. I also cover the work around the backend: Next.js and React frontends, production deploys, and finding out why something broke.

I designed the backend from scratch and took the app through review in both stores. Couriers get orders through a Telegram bot that broadcasts each new order to them, so the service runs without a dispatcher.

The public site runs on Next.js and React, with Django and DRF behind it. I built the CMS for news, promotions and pages, the store list with documents, and the API and banners for the mobile app. I also made a promo page with a slot machine that runs on data from the CRM API, and set up deep links into the mobile app.

  • Prize draw engine for the CRM (FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Alembic). Weighted random choice of winners, reserve places, past winners excluded from later rounds, export to Excel.
  • HR bot (aiogram, FastAPI, SQLAdmin). Candidates fill in a questionnaire, the bot generates a PDF, and the admin panel has a directory of branches. Runs in Docker.

Colibri Studio

Clients book a session on the website or in the Telegram bot, and both write to one shared calendar. To hold a slot, the client pays a deposit and uploads the receipt. If that does not happen in time, a timer cancels the booking.

On production I moved the app from runserver to Gunicorn, added a Redis cache and a healthz endpoint, and moved the database settings to environment variables.

Document archive migration and a production incident.

A non-ferrous metal recycling company. For their new website I moved the document archive over from the old one: 9 sections and 166 links in three languages.

Later their Telegram bot for Bitrix24 tasks stopped working in production. I found the cause in the logs: the php-fpm pool was exhausted, so the webhook answered with 502. After the fix the bot went back to work.

    Online booking with psychologists. Schedules and requests, payment, Google Meet calls created automatically, and an integration with a Telegram bot.
